BEST PHÖ IN TORONTO

As you might have noticed, I am totally addicted to phö. I try to go at least every two weeks. I wanted to share 3 of my go-spots that are within the city of Toronto and won’t fail on the flavour scale.

TORONTO INSTITUTION: PHO HUNG

Located : 350 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON M5T 2G4

Busy, family-run spot with simple decor famous for its broth & large menu of hearty Vietnamese fare.

My go-to PHO is the large with beef and rare beef

PRICE: 5/5 , large portions and affordable – two can dine for under 30s

NEW TO THE BLOCK: DEMEN BISTRO

Located: 500 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2B3

Demen Bistro is a Vietnamese restaurant offering the staple and popular dishes known to most, such as pho, vermicelli and rice dishes, and spring rolls. On weekends, they’re opened late for the night owls.

I discovered this joint while walking home from work. A cute lil spot on Queen west and walking distance to my house…. I will forever be going there when I am in need of phö.

PRICE: 5/5 – a medium size phoö for 9$ with a side of spring rolls and you’ll be eating for under 20 $.

QUICK & EASY: PHÖ VISTRO

Fresh Rolls
Beef and Brisket Phö

Casual Vietnamese place serving pho, including vegan-friendly bowls, in a snug dining room.

I went here with my friend Bryn, who follows a plant-based diet! We got some vegan fresh rolls and some phö. They have vegan options that are delicious.

PRICE: 4/5 ; pricing was a bit pricier than the other options! and service was a bit slow! But flavour was on point.
