Simple Everyday Salad

The title says it all. A simple salad. The perfect side dish too any meal (brunch, lunch, dinner)


Grocery List

  • 3 cups romaine lettuce (or your favourite leafy green)
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained
  • 2 red pearl onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced and halved
  • 1 plum tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Prep all your ingredients. Slice, Dice, Wash, Measure and Crumble.
  2. In a large salad bowl, add the vinegar, olive oil, oregano and salt and pepper. Whisk until mixed.
  3. Add all your vegetables and capers
  4. Toss your salad and make sure it is coated with the dressing.
  5. Top with the goat cheese.
  6. Enjoy!
